Whitewater Raft Guide
We are proud to have the best guides on the Cache la Poudre River. Mountain Whitewater employs guides who love their jobs. Our guides work hard and genuinely care about making a positive difference in the guest experience. High levels of rafting skill, safety and rescue knowledge, exceptional customer service, and the ability to deal with adversity are all attributes of our guides. We are always looking for experienced guides who fit that description.
If you don’t have whitewater guiding experience, Mountain Whitewater conducts raft guide training classes in the spring for aspiring raft guides. “Our Guides Make the Difference” is our motto and our guide training program is how we make sure to meet that promise. Mountain Whitewater holds guides to a very high training standard and encourages all guides to have advanced medical training. Guides trained at Mountain Whitewater are held to standards that far surpass state requirements. New guides will complete at least double the training hours required by the state of Colorado and are required to be trained in Swiftwater Rescue.

Office Staff
Customer service is one of the most important parts of the guest experience at Mountain Whitewater. The guest experience usually starts with the office staff, making them a critical part of the team. Staff working in the office must have great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing the best customer service in the industry. Our staff is professional, hard-working, and detail-oriented. The office at Mountain Whitewater at times hectic but is also fun and rewarding. Job tasks include answering phones, selling rafting trips, greeting and checking-in guests, retail sales, guest relations, and more.
Office staff jobs at Mountain Whitewater are all summer seasonal positions. The season starts in May and runs through August. We like to hire staff that may be available for multiple seasons if possible. The office staff at Mountain Whitewater are entitled to all of the same benefits as the guides including free Cache La Poudre rafting trips and participation in our pro purchase program.
Photographers
Whitewater photography is a fast-paced, exciting niche for a photographer and offers a chance to be outside taking pictures of people having the best time of their lives. Photographers at Mountain Whitewater spend most of their time in the beautiful Cache La Poudre River canyon. Photographers are required to take great action and nature-based shots. Professional photography experience is not required, but a passion for photography is a must. Job tasks include taking photos during rafting trips and retail photo sales. Photographers are required to have a reliable vehicle for driving up and down the Poudre Canyon.

Bus Drivers
Driving a bus for Mountain Whitewater is a great escape from most driving positions. Drivers spend most of their time driving through the “Wild and Scenic” Cache La Poudre River canyon. Drivers get a chance to participate in river safety and rescue and get to interact with guests that are excited to be rafting. This job is a great off-season job for school district drivers. The position requires a valid Commercial driver’s License, a clean and current DMV record, and a DOT medical form. All rafting trips include pulling a trailer. Job tasks include driving trips, fueling buses, assessing busses for safety, and some customer service.
