(Yes, that is his real name) Grew up in Yuma, AZ, Anaheim CA, and Aurora Colorado.  He moved to Fort Collins in 2019 to pursue a degree at Colorado State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sustainability in 2023.  His passion for whitewater began with a single rafting trip on the Arkansas River that he describes as “terrifying”.   That fear intrigued him and led him to pursue whitewater guiding years later.  He hopes to one day become a firefighter and own his own business.  Ryott is certified in Swiftwater Rescue.  This is his 3rd season with Mountain Whitewater.
